Picked later in the season than our other grapes, the fruit for this wine is highly raisinated and has a high concentration of sugar at the time of harvest. These types of wines tend to be fortified with a distilled spirit, but our small batch production allows for smooth and clean fermentation, effectively eliminating the need for additional alcohol.

Our first release of our Consilience Late Harvest Merlot immediately offers milk chocolate and allspice aromatics on the nose and fig with a hint of chocolate on the palate! This Late Harvest Merlot is easy and mellow to drink with or without food and would pair perfectly with chocolate flourless cake.
