We source the grapes for our Rhodes Zinfandel all the way up in Redwood Valley. The area’s ocean breezes and red alluvial soils help produce distinctively high quality Zinfandel fruit. It is a long way to travel but it is worth it! Give this wine some time to breathe and you’ll be rewarded with heady aromas of raspberries and hints of white chocolate that fill the glass and give way to a palate of dark berries, black cherry and cola. With a lengthy finish, the wine’s well-integrated tannins are soft and lush on the palate. Pair it with bacon wrapped filet mignons, Asian-spiced beef short ribs, or a decadent dark chocolate lava cake.
