2019 Consilience Syrah - Hampton Family Vineyards

Syrah was the first wine to be released by Consilience in 1997. Longevity is a testament to our commitment to quality, and the Hampton Syrah is no exception. Boasting bold berry aromas intertwined with earthy undertones and hints of pepper, this wine delivers a full-bodied palate with firm, grippy tannins.

 The beauty of this wine lies in the vineyard, which has a unique soil type which allows ideal drainage, while retaining heat to aid in ripening of the grapes. The vineyard was first planted in the early 1980's, and still has the original vines producing fruit. The entire acreage of the vineyard is dedicated to Syrah.
